The church and society of the 12th and 13th centuries were increasingly invested in drawing boundaries. In a requirement for orthodoxy, Moore argues, no heresy was acceptable. The Wycliffeites or Lawlards in England, and the Hussites in Bohemia shared some important commonalities.
