The Civilization State
The Russia-Ukraine conflict is precisely that it's so postmodern in the sense that there is a fundamental incredulity toward not just metanaries but symbolic authority. The civilization state seems more homologous to what we might call a non-edipal logic whereas the nation state depends upon things like the rule of law and so on. I was thinking okay Daniel Kant, well known philosopher, he once wrote this little text that doesn't get a lot of attention essay called notes for on the possibility of a perpetual piece or something like this. More displaces people but then in being displaced in space and time they're able to form symbolic agreements with one another like peace treaties, trade agreements
