Barry Diller hired him as his gopher when he was 23. Over the course of 11 years that he worked at Paramount and I worked for Barry, he really genuinely mentored me. He had me work in every area of the company. At 29 years old, 30 years old, he made me president of the studio. The only reason I could do the job is because he had taken the time to actually train me.
