Is War Helping to Create Bigger States?

The better organized you are, horribly, in a way, the better you are at making war. War has helped to create bigger states which can benefit those who live within their borders because they provide more stability and security. Big wars wouldn't be possible without tremendous organization. So it actually does suggest that there are evolutionary advantages to being warlike. They have often prospered up to a point.
