I've never seen the Fed not only raise rates this quickly, but I've never seen them talk the way they do. The Fed is going out there and saying, your housing prices are going down. We're crashing this economy. Do you think they're using that as a policy to lower inflation? Because they know that raising interest rates could have a very bad outcome, so they're using words instead. They look at that print at 8.1%, and they just don't know what they have to do to get it to at least roll over. It's still going to keep going up because we've got supply chain problems causing inflation.
