Wooden Legs and Other Wooden Body Parts
Wood was freely available. Olive wood seems to have been quite popular. That was what was used to make tools, anda sort of little bits and pieces. Wood is the sort of obvious choic it's also, when you're wearing it, it's quite light for you to be able to to lift it. It's reasonably comfortable if youold have a leather cuporor some sort of attachment. As you need to change it, perhaps asyou as you get older, you can simply recarve, you can repair it.
