Professor Sir David Haslam is a former chair and president of the Royal College of GPs, as well as a former president of the BMA. He will also be known to people from his role as the chair of NICE, the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, post he held from 2013 to 2019. Our conversation looks at some of the really important themes from his book Side Effects, How Our Healthcare Lost Its Way, and How We Fix It.
