Is There a Covenant Community?

There is a difference between being in the covenant community outwardly and being in the Covenant of grace inwardly. And what god has commanded is that we apply the sign to everyone. So you are either cut in outwardly into the visible covenant people, or you are cut out of thevisible covenant people. This distinction existed under abraham, and it existed all through the history of israel, and it exists to day. We want to observe both things, the outward inclusion of every one whom god has commanded to be included into the visible covenancy. The internal reception of those who have been innitiated by baptism signifies an actual spiritual reception as well.
