Louis Blanc was one of the first socialists in history to get a chance to put his theories into practice. He is famous for popularizing the socialist maxim, that everyone has a right to work. After working as a tutor and political journalist, Louis Blanc hit it big with a short pamphlet called The Organization of Labor.
