The Achilles Heel of CSS
Mozilla is working on a new layout engine for the web browser. The team at Agalia are funded to work on servo's layout engine, and really drive progress there. Servo has been an Achilles heel through all the years because it requires such complicated specifications that many edge cases are underspecified. And so yeah, that was one of the reasons why I think it was difficult for servo to find a place over the years.
