The Power of Stories

If a story is done right, you don't just like hang out with the characters. You sort of become them in this really amazing sort of feat of the human imagination. I definitely I take on the tone of whatever book I'm reading. And so if it's a melancholy book, I feel all melancholy. There's times that I want that. If I if it’s a really dark book, then I feel, you know, on edge and kind of creeped outThe author says her books are very hopeful but they're not light and fluffy.
