How Do We Address Misinformation on Tick Tok?

Tick tok is a social media platform, and its user created vidios. They were worried about how to deal with unverified content on the platform. And so they worked with tik tok to design a banner that goes on top of vidios that are unverified. It's building on the work of gordon pennycook and david rand who have done some really spectacular stuff in misinformation space. A lot of their work finds that most people are not maliciously sharing misinformation. The incentives are really misalined, right? Because missinfoe is often a more emotional, more visceral, it's just edgier.
