Even if you don't remember your dreams, chances are that at some stage whilst you're asleep, your brain has fallen into this imaginative fantasy state. Most of these distinct dreams last for like five to 20 minutes and the reason behind why this occurs has a lot to do with both our psychology and our neurology.
