The Challenges of Vaccines for Chronic Infections
We still don't know the correlates that prevent severe disease, right? So antibodies are part of it. But there's also non neutralizing antibodies with FC functions. There's T cells, as you say, that's probably complement. We have a good understanding when neutralizing antibodies drop below a certain level, we change the vaccine because we know that's accompanied by more severe disease. And I will be discussing a drama article on PASC that is still under embargo at the time of this recording. It will be off embargo and ready for discussion next week.
