Trolls-Angberg-Peterson uses a very stoic metaphysic. He argues that the word became flesh is the same thing as the Holy Spirit descending upon and remaining on Jesus. I would have more difficulty connecting those just because they seem to be sort of different traditional concepts within most Jewish paradigms, he says.
