The Government's Cover Up of the d'Alve Group's Death
This theory states that the hikers were conducting an experiment for the military. They had launched a special purpose radio probes and under the shell of the balloons was a gas with a short lived radioactive isotope. It's theorized that a missile or something collided with and spilled the contents. And because of this, an autopsy would not reveal the presence of such chemicals,. But the effects on the body would still remain and contribute to the cause of death. Many of the members of the D'At-Alve group showed signs of phosphorus poisoning.
