C M S Camera - The Wagon Wheel
This is a at yoo we haven't seen since two thousand and seven, when we were preparing c m s for first physics. So you can already see that there's a lot of work going on. The detectors in an open configuration. Through that green shielding structure here in the centre of that is where the beam pipe would normally be. And it's been pulled part into its basic 13 modules. Each of them is a kind of a wagon wheel. Effectively, ofthem is like a wagon wheel, which is a mechanical structure carrying the various layers of detectors that make up the giant c m s camera.
