Sally Kohn: The root of the word discipline is to teach. We want kids to learn from their but we love this line from jane nelson, who wrote a classic book called positive discipline. There's many ways that we can kids learn from their experience that don't involve getting mad at themor coming up with some negative consequence for them or shaming them. But how we do it is so darned important.
