Do We Just Cut EU Users Off From Our Service?
A lot of companies had to make the decision like do we just cut EU users off from our service, right? Like I remember the first time traveling abroad after GDPR went into effect and it was like some local newspaper that I tried to access just said, you know, you're in Europe, we can't service you. There's no way for us to comply withGDPR. And so a firm could come to that same calculus as a firm, right? And just say, well, sorry, Illinois, right? Which is obviously not a great outcome for consumers if that's the case.
