Willing the Freedom of Others

Semon de bavor warns against falling into the fallacy of the serious man. The field of ethics does not furnish recipes any more than do science and art. One can merely propose methods to truly be willing the freedom of others. We have such an incentive to retreat from the true ambiguity of the world.
