Can You Reverse Plaque Damage?
If you have a calcifying atherosclerotic plaque in your arteries and your heart, there's very little evidence that that will ever go away once it's there. Past damage, I have seen little evidence that you can ever reduce it. What you can do however is you can do things to stop it. If you're stopping it, then your risk can become equivalent to anybody else of your age. As long as you don't get that secondary situation, which is the big one that comes along, it completely blocks the artery. You're not going to have the major problems for other people.
