The New Defence Minister, Boris Pistorius?

Boris Pistorius has been appointed as Germany's new defence minister. He replaces Joachim Lambrecht, who was criticised for not being in touch with the army. It took Scholz a few days to replace her and there was a huge surge of candidates. Pistorius had already been tipped to become Federal Minister of the Interior after the last election.
