The Rebirth of Sociology

Sociology has run into and has painted itself in a corner, to some extent, is that the perspective to understand something has become the object in itself. Some concepts are not just ways to understand something, as I was saying before, but they become political projects in themselves. Any concepts that from daily parlance then become almost like Columbus, like whoever arrives first and then creates a space in which only such people can stay. These are just two of my ideas. It resonates with me because we do take a broad based approach to what we choose to do. We're not confined to any particular field or subfield.
