What Success Looks Like for Immigrants Under American Capitalism
i found myself interrogating the very notion of what success looks like for immigrants under american capitalism, using food as my lens of narrative inquiry. i wanted to tell allthe stories of immigrants as individuals in the most granular way possible. I really want peopl understand that success for imigrants in this country, it doesnt necessarily equate to assimilation or kind of, you know, getting the approval of a white establishment.
