Use the Present Simple to Talk About Routine
Present simple is phrases with do, does, don't, doesn't, you know? We usually use this tense to talk about routine, right? For example, I have to write up a report once a week after our Friday meetings. You can also use the present simple to talk about facts of life, things that are always true. The movie starts at 9 p.m., but it's likely to start later than that because of the trailers. This is the structure verb to be plus ING, right? So one use for this structure is to talk about actions in progress.
