Salvador Dali's Unshin Andalou
Salvador Dali's Unshin Andalou became the first genuine surrealist film. His notoriety and penchant for provocation began to earn him attention from the press. In 1933 he exhibited a painting titled The Enigma of William Tell, which depicts a bizarre distortion of the face of Vladimir Lenin. He was at best a political and at worst an anti-communist.
