I perform really well in practice, and i can't seem to execute in races. At boston this year, i did what i would tell people not to do, which is, don't do anything new in race day. I had two picky bars, oats, a gell and rocktane drinkso t wasn't just twice. And i was completely out of contention of my goal by mile ten. Sometimes i wonder, like, is this subconscious self savotage, because i'm afraid of what happens at mile 20 or mile 22? You don't want to get through that hurt. But i have gotten through that Hurt. My best marathon was at two, 59.
