Luke's Story of Pentecost

Luke writes more of the New Testament than anybody else. And he was a gentile. That's important because that's evidence that the earliest Christian community immediately broke down the barrier between Jews and Gentiles. When you read this story and you see that a doctor has written this, all of a sudden you start seeing, oh my goodness gracious, the guy who's telling this story is not telling a story by himself. He is looking at the story the way a doctor would look at a story.
