Can Propranilo Destroy Fear Memories in Rats?
A drug called propranilo can be used to prevent reconsolidation of fear memories in rats. It was shown that propanelo could destroy fear memories in humans as well. But critically, it only r if the memory is in edit mode. So how do we make a memory unstable? How do we get it into edit mode? Well my own lab has done quite a lot of work on this. We've made the most progress with working out how to deleat the information.
