How Did It All Start?

Halloween is not really celebrating in India where we are right? But I do have American friends so we get together and do a trick or treat route with them. So how did it start? Well once upon a time long before Christianity spread across the world many Europeans were what's known as pagans. An ancient religion that worshipped many gods. And the Celtic people who lived in what we now call Ireland and Britain celebrated something called soen, marking the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter.
