The burial of infants and toddlers wasn't prioritized during the Roman era. Some communities cremated, others buried. It was all rather personal, even within the same valley. The graves contain goods that originate in a variety of different locations. We also see changes in fashion, both in the items that were being worn or how they were being worn.
