The chapter also focuses on the creation and sale of a sea serpent skeleton, debates over prehistoric whale skeletons, and controversial accounts of bone discoveries and inaccuracies.
The Missouri Leviathan was an enormous skeleton made of fossilized bones that were excavated and assembled by Albert C. Koch. Was it a hoax, or just bad science?
