Is Santa Claus Blasphemous?

When you're seven years old, seeing the concept of a horror movie where santa claus is wielding a bloody axe seems vaguely blasphemous. That was exactly how i felt about these films growing up. I mean, i didn't try and like, ono destroy the boxes or anything, but i was like, no, not for me. And i think maybe we've gotten better at it, because i think we've had maybe an awakening in american culture anyway,. regarding like, how our christmas stories and winter time traditions work.
