The Economic Benefits of Antibiotics

There's not enough funding for actual research related to infectious diseases. Novel antibiotic discovery which is basically what we need to constantly be doing because they will always figure out a way to get resistant. Public health then right so prevention is not profitable you want people to get sick so you can treat them, why would you actually want them to be okay?
