Wes Apocrypha: A Bridging Moment

Wes Anderson is probably the most significant American director to come of age since the 90s in terms of having a name, style, brand and meaning something to a big audience. He touches the world in a bigger way than many film directors do. I'm not sure if we're forgetting anyone at this point in terms of just sheer recognizability.
