The Effects of a Wrong Grip on a Serve on Injury

What would be a wrong grip on a serve that will be causing an injury, do you think? Maybe some, like if they were using, say if they're using a semi-western grip to serve or something like that. That would that cause injury or is that just prohibit them from hitting a lot of effective serves? I would, I think it would eventually lead to injuries because they're not going to be a good one.
