The Importance of Sheltering Ukrainian Refugees

The scheme was set up in response to the re-invasion of Ukraine. The idea that British people with the spare bedroom could be encouraged to give shelter to Ukrainians for six months seemed like a good idea at the time. There were lots of really positive humanitarian stories coming out of this, but also there have been quite a few negative experiences as well.
