The Politics of Decentralization

The first principle I have is a more just and equal ways of thinking about building technologies is decentralization which means both spreading the tools of computation as kind of broadly and widely as possible. The old web that we used to use, you could always view the source code, you still can see the source of some web pages but most of the operation of the internet now is basically closed source. So that centralization process is still ongoing even through something as apparently decentralized as the web which has become incredibly centralized.
