I don't think Nietzsche would have been involved in politics at all today. He hated anti-Semites, even though he said some things that might be construed as anti-Semitism. But yeah, the way he was used by the Nazis and Maoists, he's been used by people for all kinds of purposes,. mostly in ways I think he wouldn't like.
