The team had planned to take a rest day at base camp, but when they saw the weather report for the next few days, they decided to push on. They spent one night midway between ABC and Silver Throne Coal, where they planned a camp before they summited their first peak. After some post-whaling, they made it to Silver Throne Coal in the afternoon. "I think we made the transition to type 3 fun," Ryan says.
