The Disqualification of Dr. Barwin

Dr. Barwin was disqualified and banned forever from the Boston Marathon a month later. He initially said he'd dropped out around the 10k point because of an inguennial hernia jumping back in at the end to experience the exhilaration of crossing the finish line with friends. When pressed on this, Barwin again blamed his hernia,. claimed he'd limped out of the race and assumed they'd have recorded him as quitting.
