In the urgent care days, we were self-funded for 15 years. We brought in private equity and closed the deal on the Friday before the Monday to Lehman Brothers failed. Not the smartest way to scale. I advise people, as long as you can, hold off with venture capital until you really need it. Bring capital looking at more than money. Bring capital can at expertise,. Can open doors for you that has already been there done that, not just a check.
