I think the election of Barack Obama in 2008 was perhaps the best illustration of that. The next eight years was very much a kind of continuation of the neoliberal order of the Democratic Party. And I'm concerned at some points that discourse intended to, dressed up as social justice, is further dividing us along these traditional categorical lines.
