Is There a Cutoff for EGFR?

The key is you need to titrate up the dose. You just can't rely on that 25 milligrams of HCTZ that we're taught. You need to use a higher dose and I've heard at GFRs south of 30, they're talking about 100 to 200 milligram of H CTZ.I don't use hydrochlorothiazide. I think it's a lousy drug. I'm a big fan of chlorothaladone. That change alone gets a lot of patients to go.
