What's Going on With STEAM?
Timothy Stanley: I wanted to draw this line about commercialization forward a bit. One of the threads you talk about is people who advocate that we should broaden STEM education, which is science, technology, engineering and math. He says STEAM can be combined with other fields such as art or humanities; it's called "stem to steam" Stanley: As someone who is a professor in a history department, I would sort of look at all this and be a little skeptical because I'm not really sure how this stem to steam is like helping the humanities.
