Emily's hair is a deliberate juxtaposition to Charlotte's prim and kind of uptight, sense parting with the little rings around the face. Emily's was wild and free and a little bit like an untamed animal. Same as Branwells as well,. right, he was all very wind swept as well, wasn't he? You know, very, too, very kind of romantic, free-flowing hair style compared to the kind of prim properness of, I think, Charlotte and Anne. He's kind of loose, isn't he, in long locks.
