The Importance of Relationship in Adolescence

I'd been very intentional in relationship. That's my philosophy as an educator and a parent is, um, relationship is key. So that was always my, well, as far as going on walks, telling jokes to each other,. dishing on all the gossip. Having ways to connect, you know, just shared interests with your daughter. I wouldn't have known some of the terminology I would use today when it comes to attachment.
