Bentham and the Power of Pleasure

John Stuart Mill criticised Bentham for not distinguishing between higher and lower pleasures the idea that some causes of pleasure like reading philosophy had an intrinsically higher moral worth than others. I think there are a lot of aspects of Bentham's thought which we ought to take seriously even if we haven't done so in the past. So yeah I think Bentham is a force for good. He's increased my pleasure in terms of studying him.
