The Story of ALS, Lou Gehrig's Disease
There is a new drug in clinical trials to treat ALS, Lou Gehrig's disease. There are currently no effective treatments for the fast progressing disease. The company started from day one by collecting data from over 1,000 ALS patients as well as controls. They collected samples of brain tissue as well as spinal cords from these patients that actually passed away from ALS.
