Small whites and porte prints were really ticked off about it. They worked daily to undermine support for the concordate. And so the small whites implemented plan b, spark a race riot. The free colored militia then mustered in force, and an open street battle broke out. But the coloreds were badly outnumbered. Forced into a fighting retreat, the colords in porta prints fled the city while they just went on a rampage. Not killed any black or color they could find. Instead, they ordered their men on a new offensive in january 17 91.
